The Lee & Lois Herndon Chapter TOS held the third of five Saturday bird walks 
in October at Sycamore Shoals State Park, Elizabethton, today from 8-9:45 
a.m.
Gusts of wind and some rain didn't prevent some good bird sightings.

Highlights included a Yellow-throated Warbler, Palm Warbler and Yellow-rumped 
Warblers. Chimney Swifts also present.

Attending the walk were: Jesse Bowman, Reece Jamerson, Dianne Draper, Brookie 
and Jean Potter and their 2 granddaughters, Bryan Stevens and David Thometz. 

Remaining two walks are scheduled for Oct. 23 and Oct. 30.
