On our property two screech owls have been calling for about a week.  
Migrants have thinned out... only one female redstart yesterday.  I had four 
field 
sparrows in a spot where they have not been before.  They may have vacated 
another nearby field.

This morning from our porch, I saw our first yard golden-crowned kinglet of 
the fall!
