Could you give me directions to Middlebrook Lake in Bristol. If the Ross's
Goose is still there on Thursday I would like to come down and see it.

Bristol Area Birders:

When I came in out of the field shortly after 3 p.m.
today (10/29) I found a message from Rick Knight
about the Ross's Goose at Middlebrook Lake in
Bristol TN.

I was able to see the bird at 3:45 p.m. and got a
long study of it with my 30X scope.  You find this
bird by entering through the Redstone Subdivision,
driving out on to the usual birding road near the dam.
It was grazing in the grass along the shoreline
directly across the lake, just upstream from the dam.

It's a beauty and a really great find!
