Today at noon I found an adult Ross's Goose at
Middlebrook Lake in Bristol mingling with about
200 Canada Geese.
This is just the second record for Northeast Tenn.
and one of few overall in East Tenn..
Also present:
Ring-nk. Duck - 22
Lesser Scaup - 2
Ruddy Duck - 4
D-c Cormorant - 1
Of note at Musick's Campground on South Holston Lake:
Eared Grebe - 6
Dunlin - 4
And at the nearby TVA boat ramp:
Orange-cr. Warbler - 1
