Janet Brown and I saw 14 Common Nighthawks circling over our farm near
Johnson City last evening. There were at least a dozen large unidentifiable
dragonflies flying around. On the way home we spotted a Great Horned Owl
landing on a snag and then fly off again. It was a pleasant evening indeed.
