In a half-hour space, I saw several interesting birds from one corner of my
yard in Hampton, TN, on Tuesday, Sept. 12.

Northern Parula, Chestnut-sided Warbler, Magnolia Warbler, Black-throated
Green Warbler, Bay-breasted Warbler, Hooded Warbler, Red-eyed Vireo,
Blue-headed
Vireo, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Gray Catbird, Northern Mockingbird, Cedar
Waxwing, Indigo Bunting, Northern Cardinal, Song Sparrow, Chipping Sparrow,
American
Goldfinch, House Finch, Carolina Chickadee, White-breasted Nuthatch, Tufted
Titmouse, Eastern Phoebe, Carolina Wren, Blue Jay, American Crow, Pileated
Woodpecker, Broad-winged Hawk and Ruby-throated Hummingbird.

The Bay-breasted Warbler was my first of the season.

Bryan Stevens,
Hampton, TN
