9/4/06 Monday - John Sevier Lake, Rogersville, Hawkins County
Spent about 5 hours on the lake today watching shorebirds and waders - the
counts are not complete as I was caught up in watching and studying - a
marvelous way to spend the day!

Great Egret - 1 (5 fly overs)

Canada Geese
Wood Duck - 7

Green-winged Teal - 1

Lesser Yellowlegs - 4
Solitary Sandpiper - 1
Spotted Sandpiper - 1
White-rumped Sandpiper - 3 or 4
Least Sandpiper 12+
unidentified peeps - 20+
Caspian Tern - 3
Belted Kingfisher - 1
