13 Sep.
Two pelican species observed in one day in Tenn.
Bet that hasn't happened often.
Started out with the Brown Pelican at Chickamauga Dam this morning. It
was seen fishing briefly, then perched on a buoy near the dam.
On my way home I stopped by Rankin Bottoms (Cocke Co.).
The 2 Am. White Pelicans were still there. The only notable shorebirds
were a single Buff-breasted Sandpiper & two Stilt Sandpipers.
