Dave Thometz and Bryan Stevens saw a Great Egret at Musick's Campground at 
South Holston Lake in Sullivan County, TN. The egret, however, was on the 
Virginia side of the lake.
In Tennessee at the TVA Access Area, two additional Great Egrets, a Great 
Blue Heron, a Green Heron and several Black Vultures and Turkey Vultures.

At the Weir Dam, Oseola Island, we saw another Great Egret as well as the 
resident Mute Swan. The gate was locked to allow access to the top of the 
Holston 
Dam, unfortunately.
