Yesterday (31 AUG 03) afternoon while birding around Limestone I found a 
Loggerhead Shrike at the Asbury Church on Old State Route 394.
Later I had some shorebird action with a single Lesser Yellowlegs at the pond 
on Bush Hog Blvd.
On another note, the water level at Musick's Lakeside Campground, S. Holston 
Lake, is noticeably down. Someone has pulled the drain plug on the lake and 
mudflats are really beginning to show. Jetskis had a lone shorebird flying for 
cover on my visit Saturday, 30 AUG 03, and an Osprey perched on a distant tree 
near the TWRA access area.
