[Bristol-Birds] Larry McDaniel's brother dies at Jacksonville

Jim McDaniel, age 58, of Jacksonville, FL, died this morning after an
extended struggle with melanomia. He is the brother of Larry McDaniel of
Johnson City, TN.
Larry and his wife, Dr. Janet Brown, had just returned from several days
visiting with his brother. Jim is survived by his wife and two grown children.
Most of you know Larry as an active subscriber of Bristol Birds Net, vice
president of the Bristol Bird Club,
a leader of the Herndon Chapter of the Tennessee Ornithological Society at
Elizabethton and the Roan Mountain Naturalist Rallies. Larry is the assistant
park naturalist at the Steele Creek Nature Center and Park in Bristol
Tennessee.
No immediate services will be held. Following cremation, the remains will be
scattered over a favorite waterway in Jacksonville.

family.
