[Bristol-Birds] Sanderling at South Holston Lake

Musick's Campground
South Holston Lake

Allan Trently, a terrestial zoologist with the TVA Regional Natural Heritage
Program at Norris, TN, was at the campground today around noon. His
observation notes at the sign in box included:
Sanderling - 1
Black Tern - 1
Least Sandpiper - 2
Great Egret - 1
And a few other more common species.
He is in the area to survey and assess all shorebird areas in Northeast
Tennessee. This includes the
sites in Greene County such as the Walmart distribution center.
