[Bristol-Birds] Saturday Birds

Today I, Bill Cawood, saw:
kingfisher, crow, goldfinch, mallard, wood duck, black vulture & turkey vulture
(sitting on a gravel bar in the clinch river eating a dead deer), redtail hawk,
broadwing hawk, kestrel, cardinal, robin, a roadkilled woodthrush, indigo
bunting, starling, carolina chickadee, tufted titmouse, red bellied woodpecker
(audible), canada goose, black billed cuckoo, mockingbird, pileated woodpecker,
flicker.
I searched for the swallowtail kites near duffield without success. Deb Artrip
reports seeing them at least 3 times in the last 7 days.
