[Bristol-Birds] Elizabethton Butterfly Count 2005

The Elizabethton Butterfly Count will be held Sunday, August 07, 2005. We will
meet at 9:30 am in front of the Visitors' Center of Sycamore Shoals State
Historic Area. We will count in the Sycamore Shoals area until we break for
lunch. We will reconvene at the Visitors' Center again at 12:30 pm. From
there we will carpool to Panhandle Rd. on Holston Mountain to count in the
afternoon. If time and weather allows we might stop at a few other spots along
the way as we return at the end of the afternoon to Sycamore Shoals.
This event is open to the public, no experience required. It is a great
opportunity to learn butterfly identification in the field with more
experienced butterfly watchers, and a great chance to meet some very nice
people.
