The Bristol Bird Club meets tonight, Tuesday, August 17, at 7:30 p.m. at the
East Tennessee State University Bristol Center on the Volunteer Parkway in
Bristol Tennessee.
Don Holt, a naturalist with the University of Tennessee's Clyde Austin 4-H
Center at Greeneville, TN, will speak and show slides. He studies butterflies
and dragonflies. Don is a member of the Bristol Bird Club and president of the
Herndon Chapter of the Tennessee Ornithological Society at Elizabethton.

Don't forget that many BBC members meet at 6:00 p.m. to have dinner at the Mad
Greek Restaurant on the Volunteer Parkway (U.S. 11E), across from the Bristol
Tennesee Electric System and Avoca Elementary School. The Mad Greek is about 4
miles south of the ETSU Bristol Center and just north of Bristol Motor
Speedway. Dinner is on your own.

This is one of the highlights of the evening because it considerably extends
our opportunity to get caught up with members we have not seen for a month or
more. It is also an excellent time to better get to know other members.

See ya at the Mad Greek and or the BBC meeting tonight. Don't forget !

Let's go birding....
