[Bristol-Birds] Weir Dam Addendum

8 AUG 04
Weir Dam
Sullivan Co., TN
.
A Mute Swan was present behind Osceola Island below the weir this afternoon.
Which raises a question for me. What is the criteria for a "countable" Mute
Swan on Christmas Bird Counts? Past records from our area indicate this species
has been included. Free flight? Unknown location of origin?
'Til we bird again
