Hi Birders:
I left out some essential information regarding the cleanup.

This is the 12th Annual South Holston Lake and River Cleanup, scheduled for 
Saturday, August 14. Registration begins at 8:00 A.M. at any of eight 
locations. I will be located at the Weir Dam, which is the headquarters for the 
river 
cleanup.

A cleanup celebration will be held from 3:30-6:00 at the Observation Knob 
Pavilion. Each participant who collects at least 3 or more bags of litter will 
be 
given a wristband that can be turned in for a free t-shirt and admission. A 
large number of great door prizes will be given away.

So pack up the family, neighbors, fellow birders, members of your church, 
strangers off the street and come on out. Your help is needed to make this a 
success! You can also do some birding while picking up trash.
