I have not seen any comments on the trip, yet, so thought I would have my say.

Dr. John Moyle set up a fantastic trip for us and did a great job as leader.

The Asa Wright Nature Center played host in fine fashion, giving us lots of
delicious food and most important, many new birds.
The verranda will take your breath with its fabulous view and dozens of species
of birds that come right up to you.
The grounds are covered with many species of trees and plants. Flowers
everywhere for your enjoyment.

We took many trips to different points of interest and just kept racking up the
bird species. Our driver/guides were very knowledgeable and friendly.

We arrived on Trinidad on saturday and left on thursday for Tobago.

We stayed at Cuffie River Lodge on Tobago. It had large comfortable rooms and
good food. Not as many birds on the grounds, but some different ones.

Again we were treated to numerous great side trips. My favorite was a glass
bottomed boat trip to Little Tobago, where we saw lots of sea birds flying
around the island cliffs.

Just a few birds of note: Bearded Bellbird, Oilbird, Tufted Coquette, Savana
Hawk, Yellow Oriole, Fork-tailed Flycatcher, White-tailed Sabrewing, Ruby-topaz
Hummingbird, Red-footed Booby, Blue-crowned Motmot, Red-billed Tropicbird,
Channel-billed Toucan and all 3 species of Honeycreepers. Seriously, this is
just a few of many great species.

The group as a whole racked up 178 species. I got 70 new species.

A great trip with a fine bunch of people.

I highly recommend it to all.
