[Bristol-Birds] Bristol Bird Club Funfest Bird Walk

Six guests came to Bays Mountain Park in Kingsport Sat. am. (July 22) for
the BBC/Ward's Feed Store Funfest bird walk led by Mary Erwin. They were
Brookie and Jean Potter of Carter County, Charles [unknown surname] and son
Nathan of Kingsport, and Debbie Sluss and daughter Brittany of Castlewood,
VA. It was gratifying to have the two enthusiastic children with the group.
Bird sightings were 3 Black vultures at the observatory, Downy woodpecker,
Carolina wren, Eastern phoebe, American goldfinch, and 6 turkeys at the exit
of the park. The morning was cool and cloudy.
