Chris O'Bryan will present the program for the Bristol Bird Club's Tuesday,
July 17, meeting which will be held at the Steele Creek Park Lodge in Bristol
Tennessee starting at 7:30 p.m. That is this week!
Chris, one of our teenage members, spent more than a week over Christmas this
past winter traveling and studying nature with the U.S. National Museum's
Smithsonian team on the Amazon River in Peru. His PowerPoint presentation will
include great pictures of creatures from the rainforest as well as his story of
how he has become part of the Smithsonian's National Zoo fellowship and the
unfolding of this trip.
BBC members always invite the general public to each of our programs and
activities. A large group of us have dinner at the Mad Greek Restaurant on the
Volunteer Parkway in Bristol Tennessee starting at 6 p.m. It is good
fellowship, good food and an excellent way to meet other birders, naturalists
and new friends. Dinner is on your own. We are not hard to find and not hard
to get to know. Just walk in the door, look around, and you can tell who we
are. We'll try ot pick up on you. You will enjoy the evening.
Due to our regular meeting location at the East Tennessee State University
Bristol Campus being closed this week, our this month's meeting has been moved
to the Steele Creek Park Lodge.
Come on out and enjoy a great evening with the Bristol Bird Club.
Let's go birding......
