Bob  Sargent, the hummingbird expert from Clay, Alabama, just posted to the
Alabama state birding list that:

> From this time forward, we can expect the numbers  of
> migrant Ruby-throated to continue to increase at our feeders.

> The first Rufous [Hummingbird] of the season was reported yesterday from
>southern  Mississippi.
