[bristol-birds] Birding in the rain

Bristol Area Birders,
I was up an out at daylight this morning for a 4 mile bird walk here on
Compton Mountain in Buchanan County. It had been raining, but had stopped, I
thought. After a mile or so the rain began to pour. Even though I got soaked
it was nice walking in it, something I hadn't done for some time. The birds
were enjoying it too. The highlights were, a Barred Owl, 3 American
Redstarts and a hen turkey with 7 poults.
