Hello Bird Buddies
Much has happened since my last post. Here are the highlights: Worm =
eating warbler and an timber rattler (Whew! Close call) on the AT a few =
weeks ago, 3 alder flycatchers, a willow flycatcher and few acadian =
flycatchers as Coffey, Worley and Cross looped from Abingdon thru =
Alvarado to Shady Valley and Musicks and back to Abingdon. Just moments =
ago my son got a life bird and I added to my Steele Creek list when my =
wife spotted a great horned owl (!) on a long glide coming to rest atop =
an evergreen in the center of the park near the old club house. I also =
added a hooded warbler to my park list tonight.
Good birding
