  You are correct  on the location. (The approximate coordinates for the 
viewing location are 36° 34' 18.44" N, 82° 58' 30.51" W).  This nest is within 
maybe 200 yards of where Bill Grigsby and I photographed a solitary Bald Eagle 
last year. My uninformed guess would be that those gigantic "babies" are surely 
going to be evicted soon - if either of them sets up housekeeping just a short 
distance up the Clinch they will be in Virginia, or it is just a hop, skip and 
a jump over to the Powell River. . . . . .

      The Bald Eagles on the Clinch River in Hancock County now have two nearly 
grown young. I got a good look at them today through a spotting scope - they 
are huge. One climbed out of the nest onto a limb and gave his wings a good 
work out. I may have one or more photos of them in a few days.

      The adults were not seen today.

      The nest  may be easily viewed from Hortons Ford Road, approximately 4 to 
5 miles upriver from the Kyles Ford Bridge. The nest is across the river from 
the road and is very visible.
