[Bristol-Birds] N. Parula Gathering Nest Materials, Hampton, TN

A couple of days ago I watched from inside my house in Hampton, TN as a female
Northern Parula gathered nest material only a couple of feet from the window.
She seemed to be stripping fibers from some large weed stalks. When she
finished, she flew back in the direction of a large Norway Spruce where,
presumably, her mate has been singing for a couple of weeks now.
The N. Parula is one of the warblers that seems to reliably nest around my home
each year. Many years ago I watched a N. Parula recycle an old Carolina
Chickadee nest I had cleaned out of a nest box.
