Carvers Gap
Roan Mountain, TN
This evening I took a ride up the Roan in search of the X-bills reported by
Rick Knight earlier today. The would be lifers were NOT cooperative and a
missed "miss".
I did not leave the area without chalking up a couple of NOrtheast TEnnessee
(NOTE) year birds:
Canada Warbler
Veery
Also interesting:
Red-breasted Nuthatch
Chestnut-sided Warbler
Cedar Waxwings
AND one Black Bear : ) (near the Farmstead at the foot of the hill)
