Bristol Area Birders:
The Bristol Bird Club's "13th of the Month Birdwalk"
will be held Thursday, starting at 9 a.m., at the Weir
Dam Parking Lot, just below the South Holston Dam
in Sulllivan Co., TN. That's like Thursday of this
week.
Come on out and join us for a few good hours of
really niceearly summer birding. We should have some
enjoyable birds.
You will walk a seldom-birded flat trail at the Weir Dam
that we hardly ever walk. This walk will not only
expose you to some interesting habitat but it will
give us some good birding and great fellowship.
If you are not there and ready to go at 9 a.m. don't
come looking for us because we will be extremely
hard to find.
Temperatures will be good for the entire length of this
circular trail and we should be over the route and
back to our cars before the heat builds up.
Come on out and enjoy birding with the BBC in the
morning. We'll be looking for you! Larry McDaniel
is so excited that he has already called in to say he
will be on the front row.
The 9 a.m. start time is to provide those who may
want to drive in from some distance the opportunity
to catch up without having to leave home before
daylight.
If you have any questions, e-mail me or call me at
(423) 764-3958.
See ya there.
Let's go birding....
