The BBC field day in Hawkins County was a wonderful success! Susan and Mike
Hubley were great hosts for 20 BBC members and friends. Their beautiful home
is situated along the edge of John Sevier Lake with good views and shorefront.
In the morning, the group broke into three parties with one going to bird
near the dam and steam plant, a second went to the Clinch River for nesting
Bald
Eagles, and the third group took a boat trip up the lake to bird an island
and portions of the shore. After a lunch of pork barbecue, baked beans, potato
salad, cole slaw and banana pudding, we switched groups. The end result was
that everyone was able to experience all three outings. The Hubleys were
wonderful hosts and had everything planned perfectly for a great experience!
Thank
you! Thank you! Thank you!
