[Bristol-Birds] woodcock young below South Holston Dam

During a Thursday (5/17) phone conversation with Kevin Hamed, he mentioned that
earlier in the day an apparent adult and two young American Woodcocks were
discovered in the roadway of Henson Hill Rd. just below South Holston Dam in
Sullivan Co.
The adult flushed as he approached on foot and the smaller woodcocks held tight
until he walked closer when one of the two young flushed. Finally, when he was
just
a few feet away, the remaining young flew. All birds departed in the same
direction.
