[Bristol-Birds] Prothonotary Warbler, Austin Springs

Gil Derouen, Reece Jamerson and Bryan Stevens observed a male Prothonotary
Warbler in the pasture adjacent to Austin Springs on Boone Lake, Washington
Co.,
on Tuesday, May 8. In addition, they saw an American Kestrel. They also had
two Spotted Sandpipers. A Tufted Titmouse was carrying nesting material into a
nest box.
At Paddlecreek Pond near Bristol in Sullivan County, they had one
Semipalmated Sandpiper, two Least Sandpipers, 2 Solitary Sandpipers and a
Spotted
Sandpiper. On a fence post on road along pond, they saw and heard a Grasshopper
Sparrow. Other birds present included Killdeer, Green Heron, Great Blue Heron,
Cliff Swallow, Barn Swallow and Eastern Kingbird.
At Musick's Campground on S. Holston Lake, Sullivan County, they had one
Ring-billed Gull and one Double-crested Cormorant.
At Winged Deer Park in Johnson City, they had a Scarlet Tanager, Hooded
Warbler, Yellow-throated Vireo, Red-eyed Vireo, Indigo Bunting, Ruby-throated
Hummingbird and Baltimore Oriole.
