Greeneville and points in and near Tusculum
I observed the following today, during a fortunate few minutes on my way
to work and in the evening after the rain ceased:
Green Heron;
Northern Bobwhite (2 near Tusculum);
Chimney Swift (21);
Ruby-throated Hummingbird;
Great Crested Flycatcher;
Eastern Kingbird (3);
Purple Martin (2);
Tree Swallow;
Barn Swallow (9);
Red-breasted Nuthatch (Greeneville);
House Wren (9);
Wood Thrush (Greeneville);
Gray-cheeked Thrush (Greeneville);
Swainson's Thrush (Greeneville);
Brown Thrasher (2);
Red-eyed Vireo;
Cape May Warbler (Greeneville):
Yellow-rumped Warbler (Greeneville);
Blackpoll Warbler (3, Greeneville);
Common Yellowthroat;
Rose-breasted Grosbeak (Greeneville);
Indigo Bunting;
Orchard Oriole (5).
