[Bristol-Birds] Spring Migrants

Monday, May 2, and Tuesday May 3
Morning trips to Winged Deer Park yielded the following:
Yellow-rumped Warblers - Many
Black and White Warbler- 1
Black-Throated Green - 2
Hooded Warbler - 3
Scarlet Tanager - 2(both males)
Red-eyed Vireo - (heard)
Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher - Several
Gray Catbird - 2
White-Throated Sparrow - 1
Eastern Meadowlark - 1
Barn Swallow - 3(Power lines at boat ramp)
White-breasted Nuthatch - 1
Eastern Kingbird - 1
American Goldfinch - 3
Indigo Bunting - (heard)
The usual Titmice, Carolina Chickadees,Carolina Wrens,
Mockingbirds,Rufous-Sided Towhees and Northern Cardinals were present.
In our yard and on the feeders, we had three first of year and season
Rose-breasted Grosbeaks(all males), a flock of Cedar Waxwings, and two
Indigo Buntings.
