Birders: ( Rankin Update )

This morning on Sat. May 22, 2004  Shane and Dennis Adams went to Rankin in 
Cocke County to birdwatch but the Douglas Lake is all up from the Coal Silo up 
to the road but we did saw some good birds here is what we have seen today :


Osprey Nesting on top of the Coal Silo ( need a boat or wade up close to the 
Coal Silo )

Blue Winged Teal ( Female )

2 Black Vultures

Canada Geese ( Flying )

White Great Egret ( on the other side of the Lake )

Black Snake ( going into Rankin )

Tree Swallow

Red Winged BlackBirds ( Singing )
