Quarry Bog
Shady Valley, TN
.
This afternoon following the Appalachian Trail Days radio interview my family
and me cruised through Quarry Bog. Carol, Sam and myself witnessed a male
Bobolink flying over the bog for several minutes. Also of note a Solitary
Sandpiper was working a puddle at the end of the main walkway. Coffey lists
both
these species as transient in Bird Study in Shady Valley Tennessee
.
