This weekend Bristol Bird Club members will lead in bird walks at
Natural Tunnel State Park. The park is about 10 miles north of Gate
City, VA.

Hikes will begin in front of the Cove Ridge Center at 8:00am and 3:45pm
Saturday, May 15th and 3:45pm Sunday, May 16th.  The walks will be along
the birding trail that is across the road to the right of the swimming
pool.  The trail is about 1/2 mile in length and passes through several
types of habitats which allow viewing a variety of birds.

BBC members who have indicated they will attend are listed below.  I
will lead to make sure that no one gets lost.  I am hoping that the BBC
members on the walks will help with spotting and identifaction. We
should plan to meet a few minutes before the walks in front of the Cove
Ridge Center.  Remember to wear a BBC shirt.
