I have been checking the field in Washington Co. at Old State Route 34 and
Taylor Mill Rd. off and on for the last week, the last time this morning, Mon.,
May 10, for Dickcissels, but so far nothing (except Grasshopper Sparrows,
Red-winged Blackbirds, and Eastern Meadowlarks). This afternoon I sought out
the site on South Mohawk Rd. in the Bible Refuge Unit of Lick Creek WMA in
Greene Co. for the Dickcissels reported by Don Miller. I saw two and heard
another for a total of three. I will keep checking the Washington Co. area
when I can.
