Area birders,

This evening I went out and rode my four wheeler on Boyd Ridge. I went to
see if I could roost a turkey. I never heard any gobblers.

But I did hear cerulean warblers, many of them. I heard close to 20
different sets of them. I heard a pair at alomost every spot that I would
stop and look around and listen. I also heard many redstarts. Didn't get
to see many birds, but i heard them

Acadian flycatchers
wood thrushs
cerulean warblers ( many, many)
am. redstarts
robins
goldfinches
chesnut sided warbler
black and white warblers
yellow throated warbler
yellow warbler
ovenbirds
kentucky warbler
morn. dove
hooded warblers

Also, I have a blue winged warbler at my house that has been singing an
alternate call. Its not the normal two note call, but rather starting as an
emphatic high pitched trill and descending into multiple notes.

Todd Perkins
