Bristol-Birders: ( Mossy Creek Viewing Blinds 1 & 2 in Jefferson City )

This morning Shane and Dennis Adams on Sat. on May 2 2003 we went to Mossy 
Creek Wildlife Viewing Area in Jefferson City we was there at around 11:00 a.m 
until 2 :30 p.m. here is what saw in front of Viewing Blinds 1 & 2;

Lots of Canada Geese with their Gooslings

Lots of Red-Winged Blackbirds ( Males & Females )

Chimney Swifts

Barn Swallows

Purple Martin ( 2 are nesting in two birdhouses one is on telephone pole facing 
viewing blind 1 and the second one is behind the viewing blind 1 )

Great Blue Heron

Black-Crowned Night-Heron ( my first sighting this year )

Lots of Turtles sunning on the logs

Mallard Drakes & a Wood Duck Drake

MUST SEE ! 

Birders you may need to bring tick repelant to keep ticks off of you because 
the grass in behind the walking path  going to the viewing blind 2 is all grown 
up !
