Sorry, folks, to have invented a new bird--Louisiana Warbler. I meant
Louisiana Waterthrush, of course.

Subject: [Bristol-Birds] Worm-eating Warbler, etc. (Greene Co., TN)
April 6, 2008
Greene County: Paint Creek Recreation Area (PCRA), Paint Mountain (PM),
Greeneville, etc.
I spent about an hour and 45 minutes in PCRA and PM this morning. The sky was
overcast, and temperatures were cool. After lunch, the sun came out around
Greeneville, and the rest of the day was quite warm, with occasional wind.
Bird activity was much increased compared to the last few days, which were
generally overcast and rainy. Highlights today included:
Sharp-shinned Hawk (PM)
Chimney Swift (5, Greeneville)
Blue-headed Vireo (11, PCRA and PM)
Tree Swallow (2)
Northern Rough-winged Swallow (8)
Red-breasted Nuthatch (Greeneville)
Golden-crowned Kinglet (4, PCRA)
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher (2, PM)
Brown Thrasher (7)
Black-throated Green Warbler (31, PCRA and PM)
Yellow-throated Warbler (2, PCRA)
Pine Warbler (6, PCRA and PM)
Worm-eating Warbler (PM, rather early)
Louisiana Warbler (4, PCRA and PM)
Chipping Sparrow (18)
Purple Finch (7, Greeneville)
