Common sense says you are right Rick. The tails displayed vertically just
put me in mind of the Grackles we had in Biloxi.

Don,
Boat-tailed Grackle is unrecorded in Tennessee.  You undoubtedly saw
Common Grackles which, to most folks, have a large keeled tail.
