Musick's Lakeside Campground and vicinity (Sullivan Co., TN)
Observed late this morning by Don Miller and Linda Northrop:
Common Loon (2);
Double-crested Cormorant (77);
Osprey;
Bonaparte's Gull (38--a few in alternate plumage, a few in basic
plumage, many in intermediate plumage);
Ring-billed Gull (390+, plus approximately 50 on the Virginia shore);
Herring Gull;
Caspian Tern (2);
Greater Yellowlegs;
Spotted Sandpiper;
Purple Martin (3);
Tree Swallow (4);
Brown Thrasher (2);
Pine Warbler.
