[Bristol-Birds] Buchanan County, VA - 3 species of swallow

Bristol Birders,
While working in the yard this morning I noted three different species of
swallow (Barn, Tree, N. Rough-wing) swooping through the yard and over the
river. The Tree Swallows are investigating the Bluebird boxes but no nest
yet. I was sure we were going to have our first nesting Bluebirds this year
but sadly the female Bluebird broke her wing yesterday (it was a compound
fracture) and died last night. The male has been singing all morning and
hopefully will attract another mate. I also heard a Blue-headed Vireo
singing on the mountain behind the house.
