Gilbert Derouen, Reece Jamerson, Howard Langridge, Bryan Stevens and David
Thometz birded different locations in Carter and Sullivan County on April 13.
At Rasar Farm in Carter County around 1 p.m., they had Osprey (1), Solitary
Sandpiper (1), Wood Duck (2), Bufflehead (9), Blue-winged Teal (15) and Great
Blue Heron (1).

We went to Musick's Campground at S. Holston Lake, where Don Holt had things
under control and pointed out the Bonaparte's Gulls, Red-breasted Mergansers
and other birds present at that location.

At Middlebrook Lake in Bristol, we had an adult Black-crowned Night Heron in
breeding plumage and a Great Blue Heron at the foot of the spillway below the
dam. Also, on the lake: Mallards, Canada Geese, two Wood Ducks and five
Blue-winged Teal.

Hampton, TN
