 This evening we went to Watauga Lake and the Elizabethton Airport area
between 4-6pm.   Here's what we saw:   Watauga Lake:   Mallards~ 4 pair
Bufflehead~ 20+ (mostly paired) Dark-eyed Junco~ 12 Eastern Pheobe~ 2 Eatern
Towhee~ 2 American Robin~ 11 Common Loon~ 3   (1 pass where you enter the
area (second parking lot area)/ pair up at the upper lake by the boat ramp)  
Near Willow Springs Road: (before airport)   Peregrin Falcon~ 1 (sitting on
power line then nabbing a mouring dove before flying off)   Elizabethton
Airport:   Eastern Meadowlark~ 2 Song Sparrow~ 5 Red-winged Blackbird~ 5
European Starling~ 15+ Common Grackles~ 15+ American Robins~ 3 Mallards~ 2
American Woodcock~ 1 (close to road inbetween hangers) Red-tailed Hawk~ 1
