Hi Bird Folks
Dave Worley and myself birded Elk Garden,Va. this morning and were not
disappointed. Plenty and song and activity in the tree tops. Here are the
highlights:
Yellow Warblers everywhere
Warbling Vireos
Green Heron
Black-throated Blue warbler
Kingbirds we saw one chase a Blue Jay, Tree Swallow, and believe it or not a
Raven from its territory. It was the king this morning.
White-crowned sparrows
Large flocks of Blue Jays flying north.
Three swallow species and many of the local species.
Ravens were everywhere I wonder what brought them down into the valley.
See You
Bob(Bebirding)Riggs
Lebanon,Va.
