[bristol-birds] Late report of Palm warbler; Barn Owls

On April 11, a Palm warbler visited my yard in Colonial Heights near =
Kingsport. I saw it several times as it foraged in the grass. Knight's =
Birds of NE Tenn, (addendum 1, April 1996) indicates that winter =
occurrence late date is April 3.
On April 13, about 5 pm I was able to see two Barn owls roosting on the =
corbels beneath the roof of the theater at the VA Center in Johnson =
City. A large amount of pellets and other detritus has fallen on both =
sides of the building, so there may be other owls up in the shadows.
