Monday Afternoon, March 3, 2008
Bush Hog Pond Area, Precision Blvd-
1 - Snow Goose (a lifer for me :-)
1 - Loggerhead Shrike (in the next field)
I almost missed the Snow Goose. It was hidden by trees when I parked,
but I saw it when I drove off. There wasn't much at the pond otherwise,
Canada Geese, couple of Mallards, Killdeer, Red-winged Blackbirds,
Starlings, and a ground hog being chased by the Geese. My first
Loggerhead Shrike in TN, I've been trying all winter
Hwy 11-E at Washington College Station Rd.
2 - Common Grackle (first this spring)
