Kingsport Area
A few sightings from around Kingsport today.
Riverport Road - sluice area
Gadwall (32)
Northern Shoveler (1 pair)
Hooded Merganser (5)
American Kestrel (1)
Belted Kingfisher (1)
Great Blue Heron (4)
Oak Hill Cemetery (5:00 pm)
Merlin (2)
Red-tailed Hawk (2)
Merlin left it's perch twice to harass a Red-tailed Hawk. Unbelievable
speed and manuverability. Blink and you've lost the bird.
