Subject: Re: Directions for Middlebrook?
Thanks!
I'll keep these directions for next time. This past weekend I saw and
photographed several ducks and birds above the Weir Dam at Osceola Island. I
mistakenly thought the water above the small dam at the pedestrian bridge was
Middlebrook Lake. I actually found an Orange-Crowned Warbler in a tangle next
to the road 150 yards upstream from the main parking lot, and got a photo of it
inside the tangle of blackberry/honeysuckle. My hope was to find the Tundra
Swan before it left, but I haven't seen any postings about it lately, so it may
be gone anyway.
