[Bristol-Birds] Frogs and Herons

I walked a bit of the Greenbelt trail near American Way this morning hoping to
see or hear the Red-shouldered Hawks. I didn't see or hear any, but one walker
told me he had repeatedly seen a pair on up the trail toward the Exchange
Place. I didn't see any Yellow-crowned Night Herons, but the nests from past
years were quite visible. The roar from all the Upland Chorus Frogs made it
difficult to hear much. There must have been thousands of them calling from
the vernal pools along the floodplain of reedy creek. Didn't hear any peepers,
but they might have been drowned out by all the chorus frog noise. Tree
Swallows are now investigating the nest boxes around my house in north
Kingsport and House Finches have a nest with eggs near my front deck.
